Compare/Contrast Paragraph #1
Thorne (1993) found a number of differences in the way boys and girls interact with their same-sex friends. Girls engage in more cooperative kinds of play, For example, if jumping rope or practicing dance steps together. Girls also tend to say “Let’s …” or “Why don’t we…” to generate this play. Girls like to spend time with only one or two best friends. When there is conflict among friends, girls talk about the undesirable behavior of playmates behind their backs rather than to their faces. As a result, a conflict between girls can take a long time to be resolved. In contrast, boys engage in competitive rough-and-tumble play and physical fighting. Boys also like to appear tough by making verbal threats (for example, “I’m going to punch you”)boys tend more to hang around with a larger group of casual friends. Boys, are more direct and confrontational, so their

Culture and Behavior
Culture is the most important aspect in each country. It can influence people’s behavior because people behaviors are reflecting the culture. One expression of culture is how people eat. We have some rules about eating, and I will present some details about eating in my country.
In China, we don’t have many complicated procedures. As you know, we just use chopsticks and spoons to eat. In other countries, there are many procedures to eat the different food and use the different instruments Compared to other countries, in China, we don’t have any salad and dessert and the main food is rice and noodle. Therefore, we don’t think about what kinds of instrument we need to use before we eating. However, we also have some rules about eating. Firstly, the most important in our country is we usually don’t talk while eating except gathering. We don’t want to make much noise to affect others enjoyment of their meal. Secondly, usually, we hold chopsticks in our left hand, and the bowl in your right hand. Certainly, someone uses inversely, but you must remember your hand needs to hold the bowl because people are afraid that the bowl will fall from the table and make noise. If you want to taste the soup, you will put down your chopsticks and change to the spoon. Thirdly, you don’t put your feet on chair when you are eating. In the other’s eyes, it isn’t polite.
There are three rules about eating in my country. In china, we don’t have many rules when we are eating. We just pay attention to the comforts of others and are polite. When we hope have a good time in eat, we also think about if we bother other.
